Seeding has failed to establish a full lawn. What type of grass can we grow over the sandy clay soil in this New Jersey climate? We do not want to add soil or otherwise treat. This yard is strictly mowable ground cover. Zip code of the location 08510

you are in zone A, the cool humid zone. Bentgrasses,bluegrasses,fescues,and ryegrasses. for low maintenance you can use timothy,orchard grass,redtop,and smooth brome.
