Sahara Bermuda – still dormant??

I planted my new yard with Sahara Bermudagrass last summer. It produced a beautiful lawn. However, it is now still mostly brown when most lawns seem to have emerged from dormancy here (Austin, TX). It is very slowly beginning to get greener, but I’m concerned that it has been damaged.
Am I just being impatient, or could something be wrong? Thanks for your help!

It could have experienced some winter kill- which is more likely on a new lawn. If you have not fertilized, go ahead and do that, and re-seed any spots that are completely dead.
