Recommendation Please for Southern Cal

I am about to install grass in my backyard in Southern California. I am trying to decide between Zoysia and Bermuda from West Coast Turf. I would like to eventually get a dog and would like to know which of these grasses are most tolerant to wear? Is there a better sod to use than these? I don’t like the color of St. Augustine so I would like a grass that has a deeper green.
