I am having an irrigation system put on our baseball field. I want to replace the old turf with a new one. Would you recommend bermuda, either sod or seed? Our school is located in northern Kentucky, 15 miles south of Cincinnati – in a transition weather zone.

Probably go with a seed mix of Tall fescue/ kentucky blue. Make sure the Tall fescue is a brown patch tolerant type. It should tell you on the bag if its got brown patch resistance. If it doesn’t, do a ‘google’ search, or ask a local university that has a turf program.
