Hey,
I just moved into a house with a fairly nice lawn and well water to water with when rain isn’t sufficient. They majority (75-80%) of the lawn is St. Augustine. It is the wide leaf variety and doesn’t appear to be a hybrid type. Another 15% of the laen is very thin bladed bermuda grass and the remaining 5% is bahia(gross). I was told the St. Augustine would choke the others out with sufficient rain (or watering when needed) if i keep the hight at 4+ inches. Is that correct? That seems pretty high but I do not pretend to know. I am sure you all have answered this same ? 100’s of times but one more wont kill you I hope. Thanks in advance.
