I have had a great St Augustine lawn here in Tx for the last 3 yrs. Last summer I started getting areas where the grass was turning yellow. At first I thought it was a drainage issue (it was in an area with poor drainage)but the problem is still going on. Over 90 percent of my lawn is lush and green with no issues but these area of yellow grass concern me. Any thoughts on what I might try to cure this.

Fungi, chinchbugs, and grubs are most likely causes. So simplest and surest way is to spray with a fungicide then apply an insecticide that kills grubs and chinchbugs.
