No sun sod
Geep – posted 21 October 2009 08:56
I have an area that I need to sod but the area does not get any sunlight at all.
Is there any sod or ground cover that does not need sunlight to grow?
Thank you in advance for any help or advice,-Geep

BitterBlue is a cultivar of St. Augustine that can handle shade. If you are getting absolutely no sun light then it would be hard to grow any type of grass there.
As for ground cover you could try small leaf confederate jasmine (Trachelospermum asisticum) or Monkey Grass (Liriopi muscari).
Those should work well.
