I want a soft lawn that will do ok in the shade of some oaks in my front lawn. It seems like zoysia is what I want over St Aug. My question is what species should I go with? Emerald, El Toro, Jamur? Seems like El Toro might be good in my area but it is a coarse blade which I’m worried wont be soft. I also need something that Is very shade tolerant. Any suggestions?
