New Bermuda sod & Dog urine
timsmith79 – posted 29 May 2002 20:49
I have a newly sodded Bermuda Tifway 419 lawn that was installed about a month ago. My female dog’s urine is causing yellow spots to appear with several areas turning brown already. What can I do besides getting rid of the dog ? I was told by a local landscaper that Bermuda would handle dog urine with no problems. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks !!!

No grass handles urine well (well..nutsage seems to survive quite well )
V8 in the dogs food or plain tomatoe juice is supposed to quelch the acidity in the urine stream making it more manageable..
