I have bermuda and I am wondering what is the best fertilizer to use. I am new to this so I appreciate any info. I would like to know what type to use now since it has already warmed up and what I should do in the fall and spring for next summer. Right now it is about 50% green.
Thanks, Josh

you cant go wrong with 34-3-11. about 4lbs pk. this will green it up, and keep it green. another app. in the summer would’nt hurt. water for 20 to 30 min. each zone after app. just my 2cents

right now you need to put down a high phosphorous fertilizer. maybe a 16-25-12. this is really essential in getting your root system established after coming out of dormancy. late in june put down a 16-4-8 with a pre-emergent in it (lebanon makes a great .38%barricade 16-4-8). in early july put down a 20-0-25 (high nitrogen and high potassium 10.5% slow release nitrogen) this will keep the cell movement throughout the plant going and healhty. maybe in late august throw down some iron, just for a little late season green up. after that put down a 5-5-20 with pre-emergent in october. this will prevent all your winter weeds from emerging in your lawn. maybe this will help some

Thanks for all the help. I actually just put down some 16-4-8. Will it be ok for me to put it down a second time in late June?
