Need help…live in DFW sodded Palmetto S/A last year looked great…over seeded Winter Rye…mow yard looks awful. Is it TARR or just bad idea of Winter Rye?

Can you post a picture, Sam? Ryegrass does not overseed well in St. Augustine, which is too coarse to blend well,, however, that alone should not be a problem.
