mowing in different directions

Does it matter if I mow my lawn in different directions every few weeks? One week I mow vertical and a few weeks later horizontal?

that’s actually the best way= make sure you’re using a very sharp blade- no ragged edges on the grass blade- use a pair of scissors to cut a blade of grass- that’s what it’s supposed to look like.
