mowing height for zeon zoyzia

Due to the lack of rain for the past month (approx. 1/4 inch) and very high temps 103 yesterday and 101 today, I have been cutting my zeon higher and higher. I am at about 4 inches now. Is this OK? Any problems with this. I always water deep about every 3 days with these temps. I am about 20 miles north of San Antonio.
