moles in my bahia grass

Help… we just moved into The Villages, some 40 miles north of Orlando. We have very sandy soil and bahia grass and moles. It is not uncommon to come out in the morning to see a pile of sand some 8 to 10 inches high, and 3 feet around. It looks like someone dumped a bushel basket of sand on the lawn. Help. Someone said on this site that IF we eliminate the food for the moles, they will move on.. OK… how do I eliminate the food. Concrete help please. Thanks.. Jim
