Zoysia has been a very poor performer in North Florida. It has been touted as drought resistant which may be true… It can recover from drought stress. However in order to keep it green requires a lot of water. Saint Augustine when maintained correctly is still one of the best turfs in the south east if treated correctly you can continue to have a consistently beautiful lawn

I almost forgot Do Not over water. Floratan /Seville all strains of St. Augustine are suseptible to fungus from over…
