Light green patch in Bermuda lawn

Anyone know what could be causing a light green patch in my lawn????? the color in this patch (around 3 square feet) looks almost like it would glow. It has been in the lawn for about a month and a half and does not seem to be getting any bigger. It almost looks like it needs iron or nitrogen.Any help would be appreciated.

Can we assume you have fertilized over the area in the past year? That’s important to know.
Is there anything you can think of that might be similar to a chemical spill in the yellow spot? I have a problem with a place where I sawed some CCA lumber, for example. Might you have spilled fertilizer or some other chemical right there? How about a dog peeing repeatedly right there?

I have fertilized this area in the past year a couple of times, the same as the rest of the lawn. I don’t think that it is a dog since the area has not changed shape at all in a couple of months plus the area is not yellow, just an extremely bright green color that is different from the rest of the lawn. I wonder if something was spilled there at some point though because my wife swears that the same thing happened in that spot last year. I guess I could resod that area to see what happens but I think that I am going to hit it with some iron first to see what happens.

I just wanted to rule out chemicals before recommending iron. My favorite iron source is glauconite sold as greensand in most places. It seems to work twice as fast, last 10 times as long, and cost half as much as Ironite.
