I live in Santa Barbara Ca and a popular grass is marathon which is a form of fescue. It is not heat tolerant. I am overall unhappy with it. The marathon is partially taken over by Bermuda. I want to know if it makes sense to mow the marathon low and seed with Bermuda. I would add Topper as seed cover and water. Does this make sense? Bob
