Is it dead?

I live Indiana where the drought hit hardest. My lawn is completely brown and looks trampled down, except a small section in the shade that looks flush and healthy. I heard on local TV that we’ve had enough rain to bring back our lawns and if they have not greened up by now they are completely dead. I understand Zoysia to be drought resistant, but it looks terrible. Is there any chance it might come back next spring and is in some kind of dormancy? Thank you for all your help!Logan
