My neighbor had grubs last year and I think he killed them. I treated my lawn with a product from Spectricide to keep them from getting into my lawn. So now that the winter is over there are some dead patches, but I’m not sure if they are from grubs or if they are slow to regrow from the winter. I pulled up a 1′ by 1′ section and found some small off-white colored round things. They are about the size of a BB for a BB gun. I poked at one with a stick and it broke and a white substance came out of it. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what it could be?

My thanks to you in advance!!

Lawnery, you might take a closer look, possibly with a magnifying glass, and see if they are noticeably segmented. Something which is very round is the ground pearl, but I haven’t heard of any white juice.
