I Hate Bahia

My centipede yard is bwing taken over by bahia grass. Bahia shoots up these stalks on a weekly basis making me mow every week. Centipede can go weeks without mowing. How can I get rid of the bahia in my centipede?

mower, research in Georgia, North Carolina, and Mississippi has shown that sulfometuron-methyl (product name, “Oust”) can control bahiagrass in mature centipedegrass. If you decide that attempt this, go slow and carefully. Repeat applications of low dosages may be more effective. It may require repeat applications, and you must read and adhere to the label restrictions pertinent to your situation.
