anyone ever heard of hydroseeding zoysia? how much would something like that run for two acres? does it really reduce the watering frequency?

Hydroseeding would be the way to go but you’ll have to water frequently no matter how you sow your seed.

alicia,
Where are you located, I may be able to recommend a hydroseeding company to you. Zoysia seed are more expensive than other types (except for Princess and Yukon) so you want to make sure you get a high quality hydroseeding company. Be careful about going with low bidder for a quality job. They’re fine for roadside seeding but you wont be happy with the results for a lawn.
Thanks,Brad

Sorry for the delay, I’m having a hard time finding someone in your area. You might try Tennessee Hydro Seeding in Rossville, (901) 861- 6733. Not sure if that’s close to you or not. I’ll keep asking around until I can find a reputable hydroseeder. I’ll let you know.
Thanks,Brad

at Brad aka Grassnut. Why would you detour her from using hydroseeding in a yard? I posted earlier today about replacing my grass which was at some point Bermuda w Zoysa (Emerald/Jamur) sod or Hydroseeding. I am having trouble finding information on the process, accessibility and how to determine whats in the “blend”. I live in SAT on a golf course and plan to do the work myself in the next 4 weeks. Thanks for your help!
