What herbicide(s)can kill broadleaf weeds and grass weeds , which are compatible in a tank mix. Something like MSMA and 24d combination that will mix together. What are the advantages of liquid fertilizer and how long do they last

you have to be extremely careful mixing msma and 24d -really hot mixes going into warmer weather. lesco makes a product that has both as does gordon’s. not sure if you can buy these products, however. the advantages of liquid fertilizers? i can’t think of even one……

Advantages of liquid ferts are few for homeowners. In the golf industry we use them to keep the turf looking green and only slightly growing during the heat of the summer. Re: In the summer heat, you don’t want a flush of growth on turf. Disease will feel more welcome on turf that is “soft”. Liquids are more expensive, (cost per # of N) and are usually a source of quick release N. However, suppose you are having a party in your yard and the lawn just isn’t up to snuff. Using a liquid fert, with some Iron, a day or two before the party is quite exceptable. Better than granular that is hanging around on the shoes and tracking into your house. Get the idea?

yeah, a lot of chemical lawn care companies use spray only because they have such a huge investment in their large spray rigs, plus they’re too lazy to clean up after a granular application on a lawn. there’s just no way to cram all of that fertilizer technology into a liquid product.
