Heavy Rain after Sodding

First off this is a great forum with awesome members and super information.

My area received heavy rains after I sodded. The turf is now very soggy & the ground underneath is very, very soft. I’ve tried to stay off the turf, but my kids have left a few depressions and a few gaps have appeared at the some seams. How do I repair these?

Also, should avoid daily watering to allow the ground under the sod to dry and stabilize? Should I re-roll the turf once it has dried and stabilzed?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
