Gray Leaf Spot ID?

I have what I believe is Gray Leaf Spot in my St. Augustine. Could someone confirm? See: http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/jm_jensen/album?.dir=6b9cAlong with the new photos (labeled front, side and back yard), are older ones that I didn’t get an answer to. Particularly interested in the ones labeled White Beads.Thanks.

i’m not too familiar with GLS in st. augustinegrass, but it looks like it (brown halo, tan center). check up close for a gray felty/fuzzy appearance in some for those lesions for even better idea. of course, the best choice is to send a sample off to your local extension office or diagnostic lab.
as for the white beads, that’s a slime mold, a mostly cosmetic disorder than very rarely hurts the plant. brush them off periodically with a mower/broom/boot if you don’t like looking at them.
seemingly, Texas A&M has a webpage made just for you<a href=”http://aggie-horticulture.tamu.edu/county/smith/homegardens/grayleaf.html”>link</a>

Thanks. My fungus looks very much like the photos you pointed me to, just not exactly. I figure that’s it.I had seen photos of slime mold, and initially thought it was it, but the photos they had looked too different; not the differentiated beads that I have. But by the description, it is likely it.
