Grass seed & horses
Nancy – posted 20 June 2007 13:00
I recently planted a mixture of Browntop Millet and Argentine Bahia in my pastures (Reseeding over the problem areas). I was able to keep most of my horses off the newly seeded areas however I have to keep my stallion in one of the paddocks. The seeds have been down for a week and the Browntop is starting to come up and his hooves are tilling them under. My question is, how badly does this effect the seedlings survival?
