grass invading centipede lawn

I have a low running grass choking out my centipede lawn. It eminates from a single stem, clumps heavily, very small leaves, slightly greener than the centepede, spreads rapidly no taller than the centipede, and browns up in cool weather before the rest of the lawn. I killed large patches last year with Roundup but it came back. I can’t ID it. Any ideas what it is?
