Goose Grass

How do you treat goose grass? I have this in my Zenith Zoysia and it is becoming more prolific. I was pulling it up but pulling it leaves large open/bare spots. It really is a nasty weed/grass.

Illoxan will kill goose grass, however you may find some yellowing on your zoysia. Team pro placed on a fertilizer carrier is another option. It is more expensive but will kill the goose grass and fertilize your zoysia. Plus you will get pre-emergent control for 4 – 6 months. Apply at a rate 3 to 5 times what is recommended. Team pro is labled only for pre-emergent control, however at high rates you will definately get post-emergent control.
