Had tiff 419 for about 3 months now and looking to fertilize in late august. I live in Austin and it hasn’t rained in about a month. What if a good fertilizer for this?

Lesco 28-5-12 works well for me overall. I also use Lesco 11-0-11 Fairway grade when my ph gets a little high.

Actually, if you can get your hands on a fertilizer that is called Hou-Actinite or Mil-Organite, I would reccomend it. It is a slow release organic fertilizer with about 1 % iron and it is all organic. There is a company in San Antonio called Specialty Turf Services that sells it in 50# bags. I use it in my flowerbeds as well as my lawn. It is wonderful and no burn. They told us you can put it out at about 15#’s/1000. It never burned. Just some ideas for the organics of Austin!!
