Glyphomax (roundup) screwup

I have inadvertantly sprayed 1.2 acres of grass with glyphomax plus. Obviously, it is now brown as you know what! My question is, will a good stand of grass recover over the winter, or will I have to dig up the whole piece and replant?

If you used glysphosphate on your grass, there is a high probability you killed the stuff as dead as Julius Caesar, especially if the grass was actively growing and not in a stress condition.
The good news is glysphosphate is soil-inactive. The worst case is that you may only have to replant hopefully from seed and not sod.
