Hello all, This is my first post. I have a yard in Fl. about 20mi. south of Daytona beach. A guy I know works for a lawn company said I have floratam. I bought this house new with new sod and now after 3 years im getting weeds in it. Every thing I look at in the home improvment stores says (inside the cover) do not use on floratam so im at my whits end with this any help would be great. Thanks in advance. Wet.

never till or turn your grass. the seeds will ccontinue to germinate atrazine every six weeks and fertilizing will TAKE TIME but dont waste your money on new sod just hAve pAtience. your grass will return will only a few places to plug. I made this very costly mistake. not worth it

Atrazine or Image (careful there is an Image brand of atrazine also).
Also, put down a pre-emergent.
