Fighting weeds on a new and growing lawn

Hoping someone can help. We put in our lawn 3 weeks ago (seeded it ourselves) and although it’s growing pretty well in some areas, the weeds have taken over! They are thick and prickly and HUGE! Should we pull them now or wait until our lawn is in to treat them?

your problem is that you just seeded your lawn. wait a month then reseed- you can use roundup first- tmeps need to be in the 80’s for the seed and the roundup- check your local temps.
