Expanding exisiting Zoysia

We just moved into a new home. The current lawn is a combination of zoysia and other types of grass. We’ve never had zoysia before but love it.

What approaches should we consider? Please give specifics…when, how to and how not to. Thanks!

How can I get rid of my Zoyasia grass? I have a St. Augustine lawn is S. Florida that is being over run by what I believe to be either Zoyasia grass or carpetgrass. How can I get rid of the Zoyasia grass and let my St. Augustine take over. Do I have to resod the entire lawn? Zny help would be greatly appreciated.
