Empress or Diamond for Palm Bch. County?

Hello all, long time reader first time poster. Thanks for everyone that takes the time to post help for us newbies. We moved into a new home just before the housing bust here and had been battling cheap starter home (G.L.) crab grass. I reseeded with centipede that is having a tough time since the drought started (alot of browning and dying off now). I am looking at either the Empress or Diamond variety, though open to other suggestions, as a heat and drought resistant turf. I’ve got small kids that would love to be able to play on a green carpet. It’s a small yard, probably 750 sq feet front and 1000 back. Thanks for your help.
