If you have zoysiagrass, there are 2,4-D containing chemical herbicide mixtures that you can buy at a retail store to be used as a diluted spray and that will kill dollarweed. Check the label to make sure the specific product that you are considering purchasing says that it can be used on zoysiagrass in residential lawns, and that there are no other restrictions on using it in your situation. Make sure that you have the right equipment such as a hose-end sprayer, and that you calculate the amount and dilution to apply the product at the same rate and in the same manner as described in the label. Nearby sensitive plants can be injured due to microscopic spray drift and volatilization (the dried chemical can come off the leaf as a gas), carried by wind, so be careful to consider wind, temperature, and nearby plants.

This is zoysia, one of the toughest turfs out there. Take your choice of broadleaf weed killer at home depot and mix it the strongest it says to mix it for spot spraying. I’ve mixed them even stronger at times and the zoysia still stands strong.
