Del Mar Plugs in a Floratam Yard
Easy E – posted 29 July 2006 20:13
I just plugged a small area of a Flortam Yard (20 x 10). I Used 10 trays of plugs purchased from Home Depot, and installed the plugs pretty close. I accidently purchased and installed 6 trays of Floratam, and the others were Del Mar. The area being plugged is in full sun, but in an unobvious area of the backyard near the woods.
My Questions: Can Del Mar survive in a predominant Floratam environment? Will the color and height diffences be very obvious? Is Del Mar aggresive enough to spread?
Thanks!
