Dead spots??
Bob48 – posted 17 April 2012 16:31
ok I figured out how to post photos now..I put some black kow in some of the spots to try and get the grass to grow back.. No chemical’s were put into the grass. Lawn service put a pre emergent down in early March. Lawn was fertilized two weeks ago. the spots were there before all this..Should I fill spots with sod?

Hi Bob. I would absolutely dig out a square section slightly larger than the patch and replace with a few pieces of fresh sod. I would dig 6″ down & replace the soil as well.

Thank you for your comment…I will most likely replace with new sod..I can’t figure out why this happened. Nobody seems to know..
