corn meal application?

I know they say to use corn meal for fairy rings, can you also use this for Necrotic Spots since they look like the same exact thing? if so, how is the application applied? ASAP..Thanks Jen

The corn meal is not going to hurt anything, thats for sure.

Thank you for your reply, i am now wondering, if you are using cornmeal as fertilizer, how often must you do this? Also, how often do you have to apply this to the fungus itself? ASAP

If your yard is prone to fungus, use corn meal every 90 days at 10 pounds per 1,000 to resist any development of disease. If it is not, you can stretch to 120 days simply as a fertilizer. If you already have the disease, then you ought to go to 20 pounds per 1,000.
