Centipede Greenup HELP
volabroad – posted 30 May 2004 19:59
I recently had a lawn sodded with dormant centipede (3 weeks ago, in GA).
Greenup began to occur, and with it came some type of onion weed. I went to ACE to find something to kill it.. . .the person there gave me Atrazine and I applied it using the prescribed rate.
I am now reading that atrazine should not be applied during greenup and definitely not during the hot summer months. My lawn has not improved since that time. What do I do? How can I cure my atrazine posioning?

Not sure about the atrazine poisoning, but it seems some iron or fertilizer targetted for centipede would green it up.
