Centipede and Bermuda Mix Sod
marispel – posted 31 March 2009 14:14
We are looking to install sod and our landscaper suggested a bermuda/centipede mix. He said the sod farm does it this way to hold the sod together better. I haven’t heard of this & a little leary. We prefer to have all Bermuda, but if this is better and saves money then that is fine.
Has anyone heard of this?

Sounds like a cop out to sell substandard turf at full price.

Agree with Saltcedar. That is a “field grade” turf not a quality lawn turf.

Find another landscaper fast. Good bermuda sod will hold together with no problem. Where do you live?
