A soccer field receives a excessive amount of traffice. Most zoysias that I am familiar with are slow to recover from injury and damage from traffic. Depending on your location, I would recomend GN-1 Bermuda grass. It is a fairly new grass with excellent color and growth characteristics. It provides a great playing surface with minimal fertilization. It is much more aggressive than most other grasses, therefore it recovers very quickly from injury due to traffic. If you have any other question about this grass feel free to email me at research@turfgrass america.com or visit our website turfgrassamerica.com.
