Best choice for sodding new yard

I am about to purchase a new home in North Texas area. I want to get a Tiff grass but am uncertain of which variety. I mow with a old walk behind greens mower that I purchased from a local golf course. I would like to maintain the yard at fairway height.

I think you would have a hard time going with something that would perform better than 419. Take advantage of that mower, get it down to 7/16ths or so in the summer, a little higher in the spring and fall. I have a fairway mower, purchased from a golf course, that has three reels, 84″ wide cut. And when all is said and done, my lawn compares nicely with the fairways at the course.
