Bermuda Tif419 vs TifSport

Prices here in Austin,TX for Tifsport is about $30-35 more per pallet than Tif419.

Is the quality difference worth the additional cost?

I went out to the Turfgrass America Farm this weekend in Granbury,Tx. I went looking to check out the TifSport and the Tif 419.I really couldnt tell the differance in the two. But I drove away really Fond of the GN-1. It has a little more of a blue tint to it that I am looking for.

Tifsport is the much newer variety…..thus more in demand and more expensive. If low mowing is not a concern- 419 is good for most situations. Tifsport can handle a much shorter cut, (down to 1/4)
