My bermuda never totally fills in. I have dethatched twice but I still have lot of old yellow stuff.
I have topdressed several times over the last 4 years, but I hav never been able make look completely full.
BTW, it Tif419 in full sun.

Georgia. South Atlanta. Irrigate once a week due to restrictions.
Twice a season I use 34-0-0. The rest of the time I use something like a 24-10-10.

our golf course spilled gas from a tractor….they did not clean it up. It took about 6 months for it to repair itself. The grass died and then regrew from the sides as the area was washed clean by rain.
I almost forgot Do Not over water. Floratan /Seville all strains of St. Augustine are suseptible to fungus from over…
