Bermuda Sod over sparce fescue on hill
Quick Question posted 08 June 2004 11:38
We are laying Bermuda sod over spotty fescue – very spotty – mostly red clay at this point. Some areas have a pretty steep grade and I am concerned about wash out if we turn the dirt over in those areas.
Could someone please give some advice on what to do about killing the fescue (whether it is necessary or not) and preparing the soil (I use the term loosely).
Thanks for your help.
