Bermuda in the sun, ?? in the shade

I have finally got a good stand of bermuda growing in the sunny parts of my yard, however, the shady areas still contain only weeds.
What would be an easily grown grass for my shady areas? I also would prefer something that uses the same type weed killers, etc.
Sod is not an option due to cost!
I am in North Louisiana where hot humid summers & fairly mild winters are the norm.
