Bermuda help

I am in Dallas and have a slightly shaded Bermuda front yard. There has always been a bit of fescue in the yard planted by the previous owner. I’ve been trying to choke the fescue out to keep an all Bermuda grass, but this year the fescue seems to be overtaking my Bermuda. What can I do to stop the fescue and bring the Bermuda back to dominance in the yard?

If fescue is coming in to your yard I think you need to caution your neighbor about the throw of his seeded. Unlike bermuda, fescue does not put out runners and germinates from seeds. I’d hit your bermuda with some pre emergence, perhaps Dimension 0-0-7. Sounds like your problem is perhaps crabgrass, it’s not likely fescue.
