Bermuda grass fungus?

I’m in Texas, my Bermuda started getting small brown circular spots and brown patch spots about a month ago. Slowly, over the past month, my whole lawn is brown. I went to the nursery, he said it was a fungus and there wasn’t anything I could do about it other than wait until Sept. when it cools off and put down fungicide. Oh yeah, and he said to go ahead and put down Peat Moss. Anyone had a problem like this? or does this sound like somthing else?

Try 20lbs of corn meal per 1000 sqft. That should take care of the fungus problem. Try animal feed store and get the ones that’s advertised for animal feed, not lawn care. It’s cheaper but same thing.

that’s a different one than I’ve been hearing, what does the corn meal do? Also, do I need to wait for any particular weather, temperature, etc.?
