Need help on bermuda lawn in Atlanta. Conditions are as follows:Yard sodded last year with some areas resodded this spring. Have moderate but adequate sun in most areas. Lawn is currently 2″ high with thin growth. Color is patching brown and light green, dead areas were the dog urinates. What should be done at this time to strenghten growth and improve color. Bermuda is suppose to creep but weak areas never seem to fill in. Should I begin lowering grass height? How often and duration of watering? Can shaded areas be planted with another type of grass and coexist?Have been using lawn service but with little success and am considering taking over.
