Any advise for killing weeds in Bahia grass

I live in central Florida. We get plenty of rain in the summer but have drought in the winter. We are in a drought now. I have Bahia grass that is now dormant for the winter and has turned brown but my weed problem is still green and thriving. I know I have dollar weeds but I also have two other unidentified types of weeds. One is thorny, with short narrow jagged leafs that makes my skin burn If I get pricked by the thorns when I grab a hold of it. It grows tall and rigid. The second weed grows horizontally along the ground and smothers and kills the underlying grass. It has yellow flowers and spreads out in a circular pattern. Can anyone help me ID these weeds? Also, I have been wondering If I could spray the weeds now with herbicide to kill them without harming my dormant Bahia? Then In the spring, hopefully I’ll be weed free. Does anyone have any advise to kill weeds in Bahia grass?

This is probably too late for this year.
When the bahia is totally dormant, I think you can spray roundup on it.
