ALL Brown

Our sprinkler system broke while we were away this winter and the lawn is almost all brown. I have fixed the system and I am now able to water. There is some green areas left, kind of marbled throughout the brown. The brown is like straw. Is this lawn lost? Is there a fertalizing/watering course of action that will restore the green? PLEASE HELP !!! (In C. Florida)
